Regarding the 'Canadian connection' ,mentioned in the first post ,I have come across the following name and address which was used in January 1944 :
Miss Mary V. Coupe
1253 King St. W.
It's possible that Mary V. Coupe was born in England
She was nominated as a personto notified in the event of a particular serviceman becoming a casualty .( Royal New Zealand Air Force . Form A.F.-183. )
The serviceman was undergoing training in Canada under the Empire Training Scheme , during World War 2
