Louis Courrier and Jusrusha(n.k.a.Hammack) Courrier St. Louis, Mo 1800's
I am looking for information on Louis and Jusrusha Courrier. Jusrusha sometimes went by Gertrude.Louis and Jusrusha lived in South St. Louis on W. Stien Steet in the 1900 census.Louis was b. April 1862, d. 02 Nov. 1920.Jusrusha b. 1871, d. 1934. Both died in MO. Buried in unmarked graves at Hamel Cemetery in Fetus, MO (Jefferson County, records are found at Hillsboro County Seat in Jefferson County).They had five children; Louise b. June 1893, Viola W. b. June 1894. James Benjamin b. April 1897, Myrtle E. b. 1901, and Bertha M. b. 1904 d. 11 April 1927. Louis Courrier's family was from VA. Bertha was my grandmother from my mother's side. She married Clement H. Clarke and they had one daughter named Margret Ellen Clarke b. 25 Jan. 1920 and is still living. She was the only child.Margret married a John P. Conley and then married a Walter H. Franzer. I am a daughter from her second marriage. My name is Elizabeth (Betty) (n.k.a. Franzer) McCafferty. I don't know much about the Courrier family in St. Louis. But there is a James Courrier son of James Benjamin still living in St. Louis. Any information know would be of get help.Thank You.
