Jacob Cover Family Bible
Following is listed on eBay
"inside the front cover someone wrote the following synopsis on a piece of heavy paper and taped it in.....
This is the family Bible of Jacob Cover, son of John and Mary ( Irnel ) Cover, of Fayette County, Pennsylvania, who married Hannah Matilda Hall of Grenne Co., daughter of Lemuel and Sarah ( Grove) Hall. It remained in Jacob Cover's household after his death until the death of his wife, when it was taken by their daughter Lydia Ellen Cover White. When she died, her brothers Samuel Lemuel Cover and Joseph Alvin Cover came to her place and Allis agreed that Sam should have the Bible.Sam died in Charleroi, Penn in 1931 when his minor children or youngest children packed the book in a box of sheet music...on the bottom of the box.Sam's daughter Katie Lee Cover Moses took that box to Garrettsville, Ohio, never opening it, and it remained in her barn until October of 1966 after her death in April of 1963....when her estate was settled and Sam's grandson, David Michael Kober, son of Paul Jacob Cover, rediscoverd it with joy.So a valuable book remained 32 years unknown to it's owner who would have prized it tremendously and her son Edwin Moses allowed the only living male descendant of the original owner to bear his name to the third generation to old the old treasure.

IMHO, no one should be selling a bible if the family wants to reclaim it.Hope someone from the Cover family is able to rescue this wonderful family heirloom.
Good luck
