Cox DNA project
A Cox Y-chromosome DNA project is underway through Family Tree DNA (http://www.familytreedna.com/).All persons with a male-line Cox ancestry may participate in being tested.Others researching Cox lines can participate by sponsoring a male line member of the family to be tested.Tests can distinguish whether two lines are related and identify which other Cox families your family may be related to.The more Coxes who are tested, the more effective this technique can be.The 12-marker test costs $99.Results to date are reported at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~brandywi/index.htmlhttp://homepages.rootsweb.com/~brandywi/index.html.Persons with questions can contact Mary Lou Hudson ([email protected]), the surname coordinator.
