Hi Lisa,I made that posting very long ago and you are the first to respond that I can remember.I'm a Lambeth-Loftin descendant through Josiah Lambeth who married Elizabeth Loftin in 1789.But I'm also a Cox descendant and at that time was trying to find out something about my early Cox family.

I have The Lambert/Lambeth Family of North Carolina by Doggett and Martin, and saw that in that book there is a marriage listed between a unnamed sister of Elizabeth Loftin Lambeth and a "Cox".I'd hoped to find some trace of this Cox family and connect it to my own.Obviously I didn't. ( found my Cox family at last in Virginia not in North Carolina...but it took years of research.)

However, if you are looking for Coxes, Lambeths or Loftins, I do have the book and would be happy to look up specific names for you.Sylvia [email protected]
