Dorothy Pauline Ryan Crabb obit
BALDWYN - Dorothy Crabb, 87, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility. She was employed at Mantachie Manufacturing for 19 years and at Lucky Star Manufacturing for 22 years. She was a life member and the oldest member of Palestine Methodist Church. She was an avid fan of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's softball, baseball and basketball games.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Dempsey Rowland and Bro. Buddy Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Crabb (Frankie) and Jimmy Crabb (Doris), both of Baldwyn; four grandchildren, Sharon Wigginton (Rickey), Karen Burns (Ken), Becky Cleveland (Rickey) and Jamie Crabb; her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Logan Langley, Nick, Carson and Allison Burns, Russ Brasel, Tatum and Cyndal Cleveland, RenaŽ Hughes (Nathan), James Thomas Crabb; her great-great-grandchildren, Trey and Brooklynn Hughes.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, T.A. Crabb; her parents, Charlie and Winnie Nabors Ryan; two sisters, Ruby Walker and Merle Gurley; and one brother, Dewayne Ryan.
Pallbearers will be Wendell Gurley, Bob Gurley, Mitchell Hood, Donald Nabors, Don Spradling, Ricky Barnes, Terry Kitchens, Terry Collier, Douglas Kitchens, Wren Walker and Mark Nabors.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ruble Ryan, Gene Hood, Eulon Hood, Jack Griggs, Milton Nabors and Bobby Joyner.
