Nancy:

There isn't much- matter of fact all I have that DAVE wrote is a ten page essay, (not counting a few letters.)
I also have a copy of the 1876 book that i got from him. But this is not of DIRECT use to you, at least, not until someone can connect it up to John. (He aint in it, like most of the VA families.)

Have you seen the "Cra(i)ghead Family Va-MO" by Dorothy (Mrs. W.B.) Craghead of jetmore, KS, 1953? It's about 300-400 pages, mimeograph printed by her own machine. I have a complete photocopy- I only am aware of two copies on Worldcat, one in Fort Wayne and one in Roanoke- mine came from Roanoke. It's a little big to copy- cost me $75 (including time for a professional gen. to do it for me in VA,) and I think if I took it up to printers and asked for only one complete copy it'd cost about $15-$20.

I'd be happy to do a few lookups if you want to see if it is useful to you, or even to copy out the table of contents, index, and introduction sections. That's only cost me about a buck or less.

If you want any of these things contact me direct with e-mail at [email protected]
