I can't connect to your family directly, but I have some OPRs (Old Parish Records) for Craigs in Lanarkshire. Here are some excerpts pertaining to Old Monkland. Perhaps some of these are "cousins"....
Marriage:William CRAIG & Agnes SCOT, 21 Sept 1792, Old Monkland. This is also followed by William CRAIG & Agnes SCOTT, 12 Oct 1792, Govan. This would lead one to believe that one of the two was from Govan.Marriage banns were often listed in both parishes.
Marriage:William CRAIG & Agnes COWIE, 8 Dec 1810, Old Monkland.
Christening: Margaret Ross CRAIG, daughter of Alexander CRAIG/Janet WILSON, 13 Sept 1846, Old Monkland.
Christening:Margret CRAIG, daughter of Robert CRAIG, 26 Oct 1755, Old Monkland.
Christening: Margaret CRAIG, daughter of John CRAIG/Margaret ROSS, 25 Apr 1824, Old Monkland.
Wills from Commissariot of Hamilton and Campsie (1564-1800)
