Moore and Related Families

I am researching the Moore, Trice, Stewart and Carpenter families of Upson County. I am particularly interested in John Jackson Moore and his wives Mary Ann Trice and Laura Augusta (Hightower) Stephens. John & Mary Ann had 11 children and there were 4 additional children with second wife Laura.

Reputedly John Jackson Moore and Obadiah Frank Moore were brothers and the sons of John Howard Moore and Jane Hollifield Moore. I'd like to prove or disprove this with documentation but have not been able to find any so far.

Also, I'd like to know of the relationship, if any, to Jefferson & Martha Miller Moore who lived in neighboring Crawford County, GA. Jefferson Moore 1812-c1880 had at least one son, James A. Moore who came to Crawford County from Jones County, GA.

Jefferson E. Moore is reputedly the son of Bishop Moore (1780-90 to 1844 Jones County GA) and his wife Sarah Ray Moore (b. c 1790). Prior to being in Jones County, the family may have been in Wilkes County.
