Mr. Grimes:I have a small amount of info on this line but probably not enough to be of much help to you.According to my info, Nellie was one of the four wives of Isaac and my info indicaes they also had a daughter--name not known.Isaac's first wife was Sarah Easton and they had a daughter, Sarah who in 1836 married Niles Bonse Creason, born about 1815 to Peter Creason and Mary Bunch.I do not have a record of Nellie who may also have gone by
Eleanor or Milly. If Nellie was indeed born in 1829 I do not have many possibilities to suggest. My connection to this family is that my great great grandfather, Willis Creason. b. 1800 was a younger brother of
Peter--they allegedly two of the nine sons of James and Rachel Creason (from Scotland in mid-1700's).Willis and his first wife Ruth Moody had a daughter--allegedly Jane--who was born in 1829 --he in central Mo.
at at time.John Jr. Creason, possible brother or cousin to James was married to Rachel Moody and they had several children, from about 1804 to mid 1820-s, but I do not have a Nellie or Eleanor.
I live in Lake Village, AR, at the present time and can give you a contact to the Grindstaff if you need me to.Please contact me at [email protected]
