Olga M. Chris (Crecelius) Adler, of Framingham, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. She was 90 years old and was born December 31, 1919 in Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Douglas W. Adler who died in 1996, and daughter of the late Karl and Olga (Fredrickson) Crecelius. Mrs Adler graduated from Rhode Island Hospital with a nursing degree. She enlisted as a nurse in the Navy from 1944 | 1946 and continued with her nursing career as an industrial nurse at Providence Washington Insurance Company. She continued her dedication to helping others by working in private practice. Mrs. Adler and her beloved husband enjoyed traveling throughout the world. They were loved by their nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. All that know her will agree that she was a special and giving person. God bless you Auntie, we love you, you are THE BEST. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Hugh and Karen Johnson of Windham, NH, Roy Crecelius of Portsmouth, RI, Marilyn Martino of Wilmington, NC, Paul and Rhonda Crecelius of Fryeburg, ME, Susan Aronson, Carol Clark, Diane Neville, Robert Crecelius, and Albert Crecelius. Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 11 am at the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St, Framingham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Burial will be at a later date. Expressions of ones sympathy in her memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
