I Have a Robert Lee Creed, b. 1868 the son of the Late Elijah and Ellen (Tincher)Creed. He was born the week that work on the erection of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church of Hatton was begun, the grounds for which were given by his grandfather the late Judge Hugh Tincher, and he united with that church at the age of 18. His great grandfather, Robert Newsom, was one of the first settlers of Callaway County, sowest of Fulton. he had three sons and one daughter. Willard Creed of Jefferson City Ocie Creed of St. Louis Stanley and Martha Ellen Creed. two sisters: Mrs. Susie Fry and Mrs. Bessie Mundy of Mexico.and three grandchildren. Robert Lee Creed is buried at the Pleasant Grove Cemetary..Lemuel Creed born born 5 Dec. 1804. Unmarried. He died Intestate in 1834 Augustine Creed was the administrator of his estate.Final settlement was May 1841. Lemuel Creed's name has been a source of confusion.The early handwriting looks like Samuel, but a closer look shows it to be Lemuel.As his probate was admitted, the first entry said Samuel, after the second one and all others, it was spelled Lemuel.
