Kenneth,
Yes, your Andrew Jackson and my George Washington were brothers.I wish I had some old photos. The best I can do is provide a copy of G. W.'s son, Jonathan Henley Creel, who was my g-grandfather.I do have copies of two tin types, both women, but I haven't a clue as to who they were.My mother found them in my Grandmother's handbag after she died.Mom seems to think they are women of the Griffin family (Jonathan Henley married Lou Rena Griffin) but we probably will never know for sure.
I have been hoping that some of the Moore family might have some pictures of the Creels, but so far no luck there, either.G. W. married Mary A. Moore, and she died not long after G. W. died, so I suppose the Moore's got everything they had at the time of her death.
Let me know if you want a copy of the J. H. Creel/Lou Rena Griffin picture.
Thanks for writing.Would love to share info.
Betty
