variation of CRIHFIELD

In my family tree I have Crutchfield, Critchfield, Scrutchfield (who also begat some Scritchfield).
The earliest in the US was CRIHFIELD. In Eng there is both CRUTCHFIELD and CRITCHFIELD. The best researchers are on the CRUTCHFIELD and CRITCHFIELD forums. If you go back to top right hand corner of this forum and type in either spelling you will find several posters and a lot of research already done. Welcome to this family of misspelled names.
