I am interested in Jacob C. Cripe, son of Abraham and Barbara Root Cripe as he married Elizabeth, daughter of John Stong. The Stongs were from Juniata County,PA and emigrated to Clay County Carroll Twp.IN before going on to North Dakota, as did Jacob and his wife.I learned the names of Jacob's parent from thethe "Towner County,ND Families" booklet but I would like to know your documentation for the death dates for both Abraham and Barbara Cripe. Were they buried in the cemetery at Pyrmont?Your information answers a question I had about Jacob who I found living with a Mrs. Mary Waggoner, 68 yrs,in Clay Twp. in the 1870 census. At the time he was a boy of about 14 yrs.
I am a volunteer researcher for the Juniata County Historical Society and am trying to assemble information about the folks who emigrated from this county in the 1800's.
