Re: Rev Henry Crocker Texas

Henry Crocker was the son of Elijah Crocker, Jr. born in South Carolina and his wife, Sarah N UKN who was born in North Carolina in 1791.
Elijah was a Baptist preacher,too,in Jasper County, MS. And I think his father, Elijah, Sr. was, as well.
Henry was the oldest child and my ancestor, Martha was next by a couple of years. They also had Sarah, Anne, Elias and William, I think.
Elijah died between 1845 and 1850 as he was listed on the MS state census of 1845 but was missing in 1850 and Sarah was a widow.
Martha married J.J. Kennedy (Jr).
Sarah, Martha and Joseph J, Jr. and Caroline Owens were members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Neshoba, MS and the minutes of the church at that time still exist.
