You need to contact Lou Bridges as he told me your Thomas A. Crockett line is the Thomas Crockett of Maine one. He may be able to help you out. He posted this a while back but you may not have seen it on Genforum.

My ggg grandfather was Thomas A. Crockett. You said someone in this family needs to do a DNA. My Nephew Herman Crockett did do a DNA test. We are related to Thomas Crockett from Kittery Maine 1633. His wife Judy said to give you this information about the DNA.
The number is kit#78056 Group 4. I have always looked at David Crockett family and alway hit a dead end.
Do you have information on this Thomas Crockett from Maine?
Maybe some of his decendants that were in Georgia about 1812?
