According to the Connecticut Vital Records in the Barbour Collection, Mary Youngs was the daughter of Eliphalet Youngs.Quoting from the one copy of the "younts" page that I have:
Mary, d of Elifalet b. September 8, 1735
Mary, married David Culver February 12, 1758
the Marys are confusing because Eliphalet also had a wife, Mary, who died young and his son, Eliphalet Jr. and his wife, Martha, had a Mary, born in 1768.
Eliphalet, who was David Culver's father in law, was married to Mary Rollo who were married in 1734 according to vital record in Hebron.A little digression here on the ancestry of Mary Rollo. She is one of the descendants of Alexander Rollow of East Haddam, Donnecticut.(Information here comes from the genealogical records in the New England Genealogical Society, book Descendants of Alexander Rollo, by John Hollenback Rollo)Mary Rollo was born April 23, 1715 in E. Haddam, married Eliphalet December 19, 1734 and died in 1736.Her father was William Rollo, born 1677 in Scotland. He married March 13, 1706 Patience Knowlton (can take her parents back three more generations) of Ipswich, Massachusetts and he died May 30, 1732.William's father was Alexander Rollo, b. Scotland, died 1709 in Connecticut and his wife, the widwo Hannah Andrews.
I got a bit sidetracked there with the Rollow, but they are descendants of Mary Youngs, so that helps you somehow. It still does not help with where David was buried.Sorry, there seems to be so much confusion with so many David Culvers around this time and no middle names.I have never been able to document any burial place.
