Who did Elizabeth Curtis, b. April 18, 1890 -d. Jan. 2, 1970, belong to.Shemarried Napoleon Augustus (Poley) Derreberry, b. July 1, 1885 -d. Jan. 20, 1971. Both buried Valleytown Cem. Cherokee Co. NC
I believe Elizabeth was the daughter of Manuel Christopher Curtis and Laura Turner Curtis, but have no proof. Elizabeth named a son Clyde Christopher Derreberry, and a daughter Laura Derreberry. Elizabeth and Poley had 13 children, 12 living to adults. One died at the age of 14.
