Many thanks to Conny Green for referring me to the records of Catherine Daharsh (c1757-1848), wife of (1) William Carn; (2) Johannes Hurtig; (3) Charles Carn.Catherine is a newly-identified daughter of Martin Daharsh of the town of Palatine, NY:
Catherine (2) Daharsh, daughter of Martin, died 4 Mar. 1848, aged about 92, in Milwaukee, WI.In 1842, while resident in Manlius, NY, she applied for a widow’s pension, based upon the Revolutionary War service of her second husband.She married (1) William Carn, who died about 1778; (2) 28 Sep. 1790 “at the house of John Christman” in the town of Palatine, John Hurtig (Hurteigh) of Palatine.They moved to Manlius, NY about the year 1802; he died in the town of Lenox, Madison Co., NY on 12 Nov. 1809.She married (3) 1 Jan. 1816, Charles Carn; he died 21 Dec. 1829 at Lenox [RW pension #W25382].
