I was so happy to find this site!I am trying to find anything on Ernest Watson Darracott.I think he was born 2-26-1886.He married Edna Tharp in Itawamba, MS.He is also listed on the WWI Civilian Draft as being from Itawamba, MS.My real search is for his parents.He may have taken his MOTHER'S name -- Darracott.She may be Addie Darracott and was possibly from S.C.?Was she unmarried and that is why he took her last name?Is this just a family rumor?Is there a way to skip over her and look to see what Darracotts had daughters named Addie?Any advice would be appreciated!
