Re: Darrow genealogy

Tom, thank you for your posting. I had about given up finding anything earlier about my ancestors, John Darling Bates and Mary Jane Darrow. Do you have any information you would be willing to share.Their son, Charles, b 1846, and his wife, Susan Adele Morse, adopted my grandmother, Ethel Pierson (or Pearson), after the death of their only infant.I have come up against a brick wall in regards to this adoption. I'd appreciate any information you might share.
