Thanks, Bill but I'm like an apple on a orange tree, I know nothing about my grandfather or where he was from. All I know is he married my grandmother inor around marion, Ind. about 1911 or 1912. My father was born in 9-1912 and they divorced shortly after his birth. Only talk I've heard since I was a child he was suppose to be a musician with John Philip Sousas Band.My grandmother named my father philip.How true this is I have no idea??? I do know thatthere are some good genes in this line for all siblings are very healthy and intelligent people, no slouches!
