Re: Samuel Harvy DART b. 1805, Bolton CT
Don't know your guy, but I had Darts move into Ohio and later to Illinois 1830-40, traveling with the Brians & other German families. The CT Darts don't appear to be German, and there is an old genealogy that Higginson books prints on the Darts of CT though I hear it has some problematic research. I visited the Bolton Burying Ground many years ago because my Spencers are buried there from the 1700's and was startled to see the Dart name on so many of those old puritan headstones. It's a beautiful old cemetery. If I find something in my notes, I will post it here. Don't have much time for research these days, but I do like to keep up and help when I can. Watch out because there ARE both English and German Darts.
