Christopher: 1880 census for Lansing Mich. lists James Russell Dart born 1835 in New York State he lists his job as Sheriff. Family was Gertie age 14, Rollin (!) age 6 and Freddy age 1. This family connects to the Bolton Darts going straight back to 1600's
