On last Sunday at the Street Grove, one mile east of Grand River, occurred one of the most enjoyable picnics ever held in Decatur County, the occasion being a reunion of the Class of l908, the Grand River High School. MRS. PAUL HUBBELL, of Long Beach, California, who is spending the summer with her parents, DR. and MRS. J.W. ROBINSON, in Leon, was the inspiration for the event, the other members of the class residing in Iowa. Each member came with a well-filled basket and after the dinner, which was served at one long table, the afternoon was spent in taking pictures and relating High School experiences. Those present were:
MR. and MRS. T.J. DAUGHTON and daughter, BETTY, of Grand River.
MR. and MRS. ERNEST STREET and daughter, PHYLLIS, of Grand River.
MR. and MRS. HORACE JOHNSTON and sons, RICHARD and ROBERT, of Diagonal, Iowa.
