Neil, what else do you have about John Davis (born ca1778) & Margaret Poston (born ca1790) who married in Rowan Co.? Siblings of my ggg grandfather William Poston (1809-1844)-- children of John/Rebecca (Baldridge) Poston of Buncombe Co.-- married children of Uriah Davis, and I wondered if Margaret above wasn't the Margaret (born 1782, Rowan Co.) who was the eldest Poston child in that bunch. (Robert Poston married Rachel Davis and Mary Poston married Ben Davis. They lived around present South Hominy/Candler by Pisgah View Ranch.) Thanks, MP.
