Wm B DAYMUDE frm IOWA to Nebraska 1800's
I've found reference on the WWW to a Wm. B. Daymude in Polk Co., Nebraska. Andreas's History of Nebraska and Johnson's History of Nebraska both make reference to Wm. B. Daymude being amongst the first to settle in Valley Precinct in 1871.Does anyone have a list of family members?
Earlier, Wm. B. Daymude was a member of Co. "F", 8th Iowa Infantry - Keokuk County during the civil war.
Looking through the very fine resources at the Polk Co. GenWeb site turns up cemetery listings for three individuals with the Daymude surname -
Osceola Cemetery
Daymude, Earnest, b: 1-15-1880, d4-9-1889
Daymude, EElna, b: 1802; d: 4-10-1883
Daymude, Web, b: 1823; d: 3-20-1881
Assume that "Web" is actually Wm. B. Daymude, but what is the recorded given name EElna really supposed to be?
