ELECTA was the daughter of CHRISTOPHER DEANE b. 20 Jun 1773 Windsor, VT d.10 Sep 1852 Houghton, NY who married Electa Plant
CHRISTOPHER was the son of WILLIAM DEANE b. 4 Nov 1744 d. 17 Jul 1823 Granville, NY who married Rachel Cushman. They had 7 children CHRISTOPHER, Theodosia , Elizabeth, William, Benjah, Cushman, and Leamuel.
WILLIAM was the son of CAPT WILLIAM DEANE b. 1711 d. 24 May 1794 who married Elizabeth (surname unknown). They had three children: Thankful, WILLIAM, and Willard (birth order unknown, but I think Thankful was the youngest)
CAPT WILLIAM DEANE was the son of yet another WILLIAM DEANE b. 12 Sep 1689 Stonington, CT d. 6 Dec 1777 Windsor, VT who married Sarah Smith.
William Deane was the son of JAMES DEANE b. 1649 Taunton, MA d. 29 May 1725 who married Sarah Tisdale. They had eleven children: James Jr., Sarah, John, Mary, Onesphus, Frances, William (died @ 1 month), Hannah, WILLIAM, Wothan, and Jonathan.
JAMES was the son of WALTER DEANE b. 1612 d. 1693 who married Eleanor Cogan of Chard. They had six children: JAMES, Joseph, Ezra (I believe this is your Ezra David), Benjamin, Lydia, and Mary. *Walter was taught the art of tannery by Eleanor's father William Cogan who was a good friend of Walter's father William.
WALTER was the son of WILLIAM DEANE b. 1574 d. 1635 who married Margaret Wickham (thanks Lu Ann!). They had nine children: William, John, Susan, Eleanor, Marjorie, Elizabeth, Thomas, WALTER, and Isaac. *Marjorie marrie Rev. Job Strong and came to America in 1630. **Her brothers John and Walter followedapprox 4 years later after the death of their father. I also have them in Dorchester then Taunton.
