Your posting couldn't have been more timely.
Fletcher Dearmin was my great-grandfather's (John Wesley Dearmin) younger brother.Their parents were Elizabeth Smith Dearman and James Madison Dearman, of Stokes County, NC.
I am currently researching this family, and have uncovered a lot of information re the James Madison Dearman estate.(James M. Dearman died in 1865 without a will.)I had little or no information re the children until recently, and was working on finding more info about Fletcher and his family.
At the time of Fletcher's death, he and his brother were suing the administrators of their parent's estates to try to recover some of the money that was never paid to them.
Do you have info re his children?I know that at the time of his death (listed in a Salem, NC newspaper) he was survived by his wife and two children, but I don't know the children's names.
