Thank you so very much. I've been searching in Surry County, (Duh!!) Don't know why Stokes didn't cross my mind. I guess because they married in Surry County. He married Emma Forrester Harrison. Her parents were James Forrester Harrison and Lebanon (sometimes Leabanon) King.Lebanon was from Stokes County, and she and Harrison married in Stokes County. His death was apparently quite sudden, since they were only married 4 years. They only had one child, Mabel Dearmin, quite beautiful. Mabel married a Stephen Clark here in High Point and died just right after the birth of her second child. She was quite young. She had Helen Clark and Stewart Clark, both now deceased.Stewart didn't have any children, but Helen had two children, still living. Stephen Clark was quite an influential man here in High Point, Post Master, Land developer, and historian.
You are so right, What Timing!!I would love to know about this side of the family.Emma Forrester Harrison was my grandfather's sister.Irma
