Re: Henry DELCAMP, the Immigrant..Indian blood
According to a letter from your father dated Feb. 22, 1974, I was the first person to reply to his ad in the Genelogical Helper. I made a contact with another Delcamp last week and was going over my folders of letters just this evening. I went to genforum wondering if anyone had made a recent posting. What a surprise to see your posting made recently.
The last letter I had from your father was dated July 22,1977. Then I never heard anything after that. Shortly before that he had stopped at my home in Allentown. At that time I believe he was on his way to Schuylkill Co. as he mentioned briefly some of his searching there. So I am now wondering if you have any of the information that he found at that time. He mentions meeting a lady who "turned out to be a second cousin and she was able to fill out a whole branch on my tree". I do have you in my file as your Dad gave me your name in one of the letters. Over the several years of ourcorrespondence he mailed me pages and pages of information. It seemed odd that I never heard from him again as I was also sending him data as I collected it. Perhaps you would like to email me directly?
