More on Deluce family from Ashton-in-Makerfield

Crikey! I'm in Australia, and my paternal grandmother is from Ashton-in-Makerfield. Her name was Mary Welsby-Deluce.

She married Frederick Mather and had one son named Douglas Stanley Mather. Mary had three sisters, IIRC. Myrtle, "Ginnie" (sp?) and Sis, as in Sicily, I think.

James Deluce and Mary Welsby may well be my great greatparents.
