Catharine Demoss daughter of James & Margaret

Thanks for posting this, it's great and gives lots of clues.I think there is a problem in the tree with Catherine Patty, wife of Thomas Patty, being the daughter of James Henry DeMoss and Margaret Nace.

Catherine Patty is in the 1850 census -- North Side of the Vermillion River (ancestry.com has transcribed it as Vinnition River) Livingston County, Illinois.She is age 19, born Ohio, living with Thomas Patty and their one month old son.They are family #18.(The Illinois Statewide Marriage Index lists the marriage of Catharine DeMoss to Thomas Patty in 1849.I don't know which Catharine Demoss this is because Catharine Demoss, age 19, born Ohio is listed with her parents James H. and Margaret in the same 1850 census, Family 28.It can't be the same person.
