Pascal Dezotell & the Civil War
I am not a relative but when researching Civil War Veterans for the Monroe Co. Civil War Veterans Book I came across the following info which I thought might be of interest.
Pascall Dezotell [b. April 1, 1799 at Canada; d. January 20, 1897 at Norwalk, Monroe Co., WI] & Mary Elizabeth Cook [b. June 8, 1813 at Canada; d. August 6, 1887 at Kirby, Monroe Co., WI]
The following sons were in the Civil War.Isaac -d. 1852 (wounds); William d. 1863 (disease); Stephen - d. 1872; Abraham d. 1868; John d. 1862 (disease). Pascal's daughter, Mary Arzelia m. Joseph Myot, a Civil War Veteran as was his brother Alanson Myot.
A Gilbert Dezotell m. Nancy A. Bigelow, dau. of David Wesley Bigelow, a Civil War veteran.
Does anyone know if Pascal had other children? I have more info on the men above if you are interested.
We would like to do a special article of the Dezotell family and the Civil War.If you have any info on any of the above persons, letters, or pictures we would be glad to include them.Does anyone know the relationship of Gilbert to the other men?
Thank you for your help.
