Re: Dickey's from Ireland to South Carolina

Hi just found your posting online. I hope that we may have a connection. I have a Mattie Dickey born abt 4-1851 in Illinois. She married Albert Goodman. I just started searching on this branch and look forward to any and all information you may be able to share with me.

I believe that Mattie's father was John A. Dickey born about 1822 in S.C. and her mother was Nancy J White/Dickey born 5-1833 in Illinois. I have been able to find that Mattie had a brother named Albert who was younger than her. I've been looking at census images that Ancesty.com has posted.
