Re: Dickey's from Ireland to South Carolina

Concerning Mattie DICKEY who married Albert GOODMAN on on 2 Feb 1882 in Randolph Co IL. Albert was born 16 Dec 1848 in Washington Co IL, son of Margaret East and Price H Goodwin. Margaret was born in 1823 in Madison Co IL, dau of Henry Tate East and Elizabeth Coulter. Price was born in VA in 1818, and probably died in Washinjgton Co in the early 1850s. Margaret then married Archibald McKay on 14 Aug 1855 in Washington Co. Margaret and Price had two other children, in addition to Albert: Elizabeth F Goodman, b 1844, probably died in the 1850s; and Joseph (Josiah?) Goodman, b 1856 in IL, probably died in the 1860s. Albert Goodman, the middle child, married Martha Lavina Dickey on 2 Feb 1882 in Randolph Co. She was born 26 Jun 1855 (b in April per 1900 census) at Coulterville, Randolph Co IL, daughter of John A Dickey and Nancy Jemima Dickey, both from SC. Albert and Mattie had two kids: Earl Goodman, b May 1889 and Ernest Goodman, b Sep 1891.
