You do know that William Dickinson s/o Thomas,m Sarah Stacy 3 sonscameto Massachusetts, USA.#1 Nathaniel b 1600 in Ely went to Rowley, Ma then Ct and back to Hadley, Ma m Ann Smith Gull abt 1628 in East Bergholst, Suffolk, England
#2 John Capt b 1602 in Ely had 2 marriages.m 1 Mary Taylor b abt 1606 in Ely d 16 Feb 1646/47 and they had 3 children married 2nd Elizabeth Howland 10 Jul 1651 and they had 9 children.
Thomas b 1604 Ely he came to Boston with his brothers and he moved to New Haven, Ct. and then in 1645 to Fairfield Ct where he died leaving several children
Then there is Henry Dickinson m Sarah Cooper s/o Robert. He had 3 sons also who came over to Ma
Philemon b 1615 Suffolk, England had 4 children
John b 1617 came to Boston 1640 then to Southhold, LI, NY 1665 he is buried in the First Presbyterian Church Yard of Elizabeth New Jersey.
Thomas b abt 1619 d 25 March 1662 in Rowley, Ma.
So Not all of the Dicknson's belong to John and Elizabeth Howland
You have to be very careful on finding the right one in your family.
I do know there is George that married a Green in Rhode Island but don't know he belongs too.As far as I can determine he does not belong to John and Elizabeth Tho I could be wrong.I do know that some years ago I looked this family up.
