The Dildine Coat of Arms consist of a shield with a red cross-down. It extends down the center and across from side to side, as in the crusades. There is a red rose in the center of the upper left quadrent near the center of the cross and with-in the red rose is a white rose.This is to commerate the 100 years war and the also the war of the roses. Very bloody wars. The headpiece is that of a knight with flowing red plumes the extend from the headpiece down both sides of the shield. The name was changed upon the death of Johann in New York, one year after he arrived in this country by his family. The family moved to New Jersey shortly there after.
