Re: when was I born?
To get a copy of your birth certificate, write to the following address:
Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Registry of Vital Records & Statistics
150 Mt Vernon St
Dorchester, MA 02125
Give them the info you have, both parents’ names, your name & the birth date from your baptismal certificate. Call them at 617-740-2600 to inquire as to what fee they charge for a copy of the record. I believe it’s about $5-10 per copy. The birth certificate should have the address where your parents resided at the time of your birth and may also include the name of the hospital. The info on your baptismal certificate may be accurate. In 1952 babies were usually baptized a few weeks after they were born. Good luck in your search.
