Nov 1878 m. Elizabeth Barr; Henry Jr. b. Jan 1879 m. Elma G. Barr; George b. Sept 1881; Anna b. Jan 1882; Emma b. Jan 1884; Frank b. Aug 1885; Mary [possibly Dorothy Marie who m. C. E. Thompson?] b. Oct 1890; and John b. July 1892.All children born in Illinois.By 1920 [if Mary is indeed Dorothy and therefore Mrs. C.E. Thompson] there is a Henry Dittmer age 74 widowed, living with C.E. Thompson in Jefferson twp., Adair, IA.Does any of this help?
