Decendands of George Nicks, born 1772

My husband is a direct decendant of George Nicks, born in North Carolina, about 1772. He died June 2, 1840. I have the name of his wife as Jean (Jane) Anderson born Sept. 26, 1848, they were married Mar. 26, 1793 in Guilford Co. N.C. There were 6 children listed, I don't have them all right on hand.
One of his children was named Doak Nicks, also (my husbands) grandfather. He was born 1815 and was married 2 times. once -unknown and the 2 to Orpha Shelby.They had Jennings Nicks, b. 1861, Illinois Died 1941,42 , in Koshkonong, Mo. contact me for more information about Doak Nicks.
