I am looking for Dobsons from Kingston-upon-Hull ca. early to mid 1800's.My William Dobson, b. 1824, reportedly in Hull, son of merchant/mariner, ran away to sea to avoid ecclesiastical school when he was quite young.Could there be a connection?
