This is what I know about my line of Tomb's.I hope this helps some what.Benedick Dohm came over on the ship Samuel in 1737 and is buried in York, Pa.Wife: Ann Veronica Frainey.Children; John George,Christian, Henry and Jacob.There were other children also.All four of these boys were in the Revolutionalry War.Jacob Tomb went to Pine Creek, Pa in 1771 and then to Slate Run, Pa. in 1790.Wife; Raggina Frichenball?sp. Children; Philip, Elizabeth, Christina, Henry, Benjamen and Jacob Jr.Philip wrote a book, "30 Years A Hunter" and was a translator for the Seneca Cheif Cornplanter.Henry died in 1779 and Benjamen went to Tifftan, OH.Jacob Jr. lived in Slate Run until 1860.Wife; Sarah Campbell.Children; Jane, Samuel, Benjaman, George, Robert and John.Robert died young. We come from John.I don't know who you are looking for.Jacob Tomb stay in Pa. and are around Slate Run, Tomb's Run and that area. There is a diary in a library in Wellsboro, Pa. that only Tomb's can read. You must prove you are a Tomb.I hope this helps.
