Obituary of daughter, Victoria Fuerstenberg. "Victoria Doris Fuerstenberg, the daughter of, Victor and Julia Dombrowski Morris was born in New Britain, Connecticut on October 12, 1931. Vicky grew up New Britain and graduated from New Britain High School in 1949. On August 18, 1967 Vicky was united in marriage to Don Fuerstenberg in Newport, Rhode Island. After their marriage they made their home in Portsmouth, RI and later moved to Little Compton, RI. Vicky worked as a secretary for the Stanley Works Company. In 1988 they moved to an acreage east of Fulda. Vicky passed away on May 27, 2006 at the Worthington Regional Hospital age of 74. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church and sang in the church choir. Vicky was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She also was a member of the community choir and served as a Girl Scout Leader. Vicky enjoyed quilting, numerous crafts, ceramics, flower arranging, gardening and camping.
Survivors include her husband, Don Fuerstenberg of Fulda, and three children and their spouses, Melea and Mike Maynard of Pawtucket, RI, Teresa and Leslie Swinehart of Darby, PA and Donna and John Sauer of Fulda, MN, seven grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters.
Funeral services at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 with the Fr. Bob Horihan officiating. The pallbearers are Travis Sauer, Adam Sauer, Becky Towne, Jenny Towne, Angie Towne, and Jared Towne. Interment is at St. Gabriel's Catholic Cemetery, Fulda, MN."
