I have a lot of information on the Dongworth name, my paternal grandmother was Ellen Dongworth.
There is a Michael Dongworth at present living in Kent. A search reveals that he is a good veteran cyclist. I believe his ancestors came from Russia. Joanna Dongworth, who posts in this forum, is a niece of his. I notice you have a Paul James Dongworth in your family. James was a very common Dongworth name!
I think that the Dongworths came from a small village, near Sheffield. I think that a Thomas Dungworth moved to London in the early 1700s and most if not all the London Dongworths can be traced to him.
I think that the Russian connection goes back to some London Dongworths who went to the Ukraine as railway engineers in the 1800s. I did know of someone who was trying to trace Dongworths for someone in the Ukraine; if I find the contact I will pass it on.
I am behind in my genealogical research at the moment so will give you, and others I already owe, more information when I can.
If you try this link:-

you will find some Dongworth genealogy under my family tree. There is a GEDCOM for download.
