We know some listings have HENRY DUNEHEW's father listed as a JOHN DONAHOO, I believe. There is an early JOHN DONAHO, DONAHOO/Donohoe in ANSON CO. NC early abstracts of records, and wondered if anyone has a listing of children for this JOHN DONAHO of ANSON CO. NC? As yet we have not connected our HENRY DUNEHEW/DONAHO to this line in Anson Co. NC, but we are researching further lines to establish any possible connections in NC. This is what I have on JOHN DONOHOE/DONAHO of Anson Co. NC :
Source : "ANSON CO. NC : ABSTRACTS of EARLY RECORDS" compiled by May Wilson McBee :
pg. 38 under Abstracts of Deeds within the above book:
"Page 83 -- 14 May 1763 JOHN DONOHOE to JOHN CARPENTER, for 10 pounds proc., 100 acres in St. George's Parrish, Anson Co., granted to JOHN DONOHOE 23 Apr., 1763, on Cabin Creek. John Jeffray, John Smith."
Please contact me if you have further information on these lines.
