I am new to this site and I know this comes several years after all this was posted. I want some answers too!
Anyway, James Madison Hypes and Rachel Dorsey are my GG grandparents. According to my documents I have John (or james?) Dorsey listed as birth abt 1749 Virginia, Married sept. 1791. Died about 1842 Nicholas county, WV.
