I am the granddaughter of George Urid Dorsey who lived in Nallen, WV.His father was Jacob Dorsey.My mother isGracie Dorsey Bryant, age 98, is the oldest daughter of George and Virgie Simpson Dorsey.

When I was a child (ugh, 60 years ago) we used to attend the Dorsey family reunions in WV.WWII came along and we were scattered.

My gggrandfather was Samuel Dorsey who was married to Nancy Nutter.Their children were:Samuel W. Dorsey, Mary Dorsey who was married to Christopher Eye, Aria Jane Dorsey who was married to David Nutter, Franklin Dorsey, Tina Dorsey who was married to Felix O'Dell, jCornelius Dorsey who was married to a Pitzenbarger, Rachel Dorsey, David Nutter Dorsey, John Addison Dorsey annd my ggrandfather, Jacob Dorsey who was married to Mary Eye.

Siblings to my grandfather, George Urid Dorsey were:Samuel Dorsey m. to Martha Richardson (children Owen and Fletcher), James Dorsey, Marvin Dorsey, Rhuhama Dorsey m. to Alfred Watson Groves, Barbara Ellen jDorsey, Leona Agnes Dorsey, Henry Dorsey, Everett Dorsey and Grafton Dorsey.Uncle Grafton and Uncle Everett were half brothers to the others.
