Buddy. Thanks for your messages! I had read the Kristie Head enq. of 2/5/99 and others that thought might be relevant, but don't think this is my Wm. H.Family papers state that while James & Sally were living in Sumner Cty, TN in 1815/16 (also that James had been married before he m. Sally), Wm. H ( maybe w/James Sally?) at some point moved to KY. Wm. H. & wife Nancy are listed in Daves Cty, KY 1850 census as 30 and 28 yrs of age, resp., w/7 children, ages 10,7,6,3,1&1. (No sign of James & Sally, in any of the KY or TN census that I've checked, so far)! Wm. H.'s 3rd eldest, John, is my gr-grndfather.(John m. Amie Lennie McFarland in Harrison Cty, Tx in Apr 1868). Since the 1860 KY census doesn't mention Wm. H., wife & children, they may have all moved to TX. Wm. H. was prob. b. cir 1820 (per 1850 census, Wm. H. b. TN; wife Nancy b. KY) )& his father James cir 1800 or prob. earlier.Any add'l inf. would really be appreciated: esp. b/d dates, wives maiden names, etc.
